Speciality coffee is made from the top 1% of coffee beans worldwide and requires dedication across the whole coffee chain to achieve. All coffee can be graded on a scale of 100 through a professional tasting process called “cupping”. According to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), specialty coffee is Arabica coffee with a score of 80 points or greater. Grown carefully in specific altitudes and climates, handpicked for perfection, carefully processed, and roasted skillfully, specialty coffee requires a commitment to quality from farmer to cup.
At Impact Coffee, our coffee is single-origin, single-estate, and 100% traceable back to the farmer. Our speciality coffee is rated 83 points and greater by SCA and also received 8th Place in the Guatemalan National Coffee Association’s Region IV Coffee Cupping Competition.
